XPS 8500 No boot device available...

My 1 year old XPS 8500 is just barely out of warranty and just stopped booting.  I have had intermittent problems with it not coming back from sleep mode prior to this, but unfortunately didn't submit a warranty claim in time.  I've had to hold the power button down and hard-reset it when that happens.

Now it gives me the "No boot devices available" error every time.

I have a 2Tb SATA drive with the 32Gb SSD boot option.

Windows 8.1, Intel Core I7 3770 3.4Ghz with 3.90 Turbo Boost 2, ATI Radeon gfx (I'll have to look up the model)

I've reseated the SATA cables:  No change.

I've run the Pre-Boot diagnostic(via F12) and it reports No Problems.

I saw another post with another XPS 8500 with the same problem, but no final answer was posted.  They also had the SSD boot drive installed.

Help!
