Hello
I have a Dell Precision T5500 with a single CPU (Xeon X5650) and Nvidia Quadro 5000 video card installed.
The PSU of the device has developed a noticable coil whine and I was thinking of replacing it. As far as I know, the original PSU is rated to 875W of power. I'm guessing the unit needs to be that powerful only if you want to run a second CPU. As I have no intention of installing a second CPU, I was wondering if anyone can recommend how powerful the new PSU should be.
Thank you for any info you can provide.
