I am totally lost I want to know how to flash BIOS without an operating system. I have a Dell XPS 410. I installed a new Sata # hard drive and every time I try to install the Windows 7 operating system I get the error message that booting files cannot be found. I figure its probably corrupt BIOS and want to flash the Bios but have no operating system. I know how to go to Dell and download the Bios exe file, but how do I make that so that it will open when I install windows? When I install windows it gives me the option to load drivers but even if I place the file on a flash drive it will not recognize it. HELP!
