I am working on restoring a family member's E520 Dimension computer. I erased the hard drive and installed it back into the computer. I got error codes that there was something wrong with the memory. I reseated it and tested modules. I found one that worked. When I turned on the computer, I got a screen with running text that wasn't readable. The text all ran together to create streams of white lines on the screen. I switched the hard drive to a new one. I got the same problem but this time lights 1,2,3 came on. This didn't happen with the old drive. This drive has the NTFS format in it. What should I do? I cannot access the Setup screen. Do you know why?
