New to the forum...I'll get right to it.
I've had several Precision desktops in the past. Last night I installed an older, used HDD from a precision 390 (to pull some data off of it). While I was in there, I also decided to install some more memory. Popped everything in. Powered it up and I got the beeps (which I attributed to improperly seated memory). Powered it down, re-seated the memory and upon start up, I get "no boot device available. I entered the bios and turned on SATA 2 (SATA 0 is my current HDD and SATA 1 was my CD Drive). Restarted again and I get the same error. Entering the system restore/repair prompt did nothing. So I powered down, pulled out the new memory and extra HDD and reset the bios to what it originally was before I changed it...and still I get the "no boot device available".
So after all of that, I am back to the hardware and bios config that I was at before I started the process, and the T3400 won't boot...any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
