I've got an Optiplex 380 that simply won't boot. When I try, the HDD comes active for about 3 seconds then the light goes out, and lights 2 and 4 come on and stay green. If ethernet is plugged in that light stays on too. It attempts to boot as soon as I plug in power, which isn't normal. I have tried pulling the CMOS battery, unplugging it and letting it sit for a while. I've tried unplugging everything (incl. HDD and CD-ROM) except the power and video. I've tried pulling the video card and using on-board only. I've tried holding down the button on the power supply, which only blew out some dust. This machine has sat unused for about 4 months, in case that's relevant. It's the second machine that's done this out of 5, and I have about a dozen more to try so I expect to see the same problem on some of them. Help!
