We have bought new 48 OptiPlex 3020 from Dell. After setup some first computers I noticed that they were loosing responsibility sometimes, opening fast known websites took up to 20 sec, sometimes programs were frozen after launch and similar problems. I decided to check surface of hard drives by HDDScan v3.3 under Windows 7 and got poor results with high fluctuation while reading test from 130MBps up to 10-40MBps. From 12 tested computers I got only one HDD with acceptable result. SMART's are OK for each HDD. All processes were minimized while testing. No paging file.
