I purchased a Dell Inspiron 3847 and the internet performance on this thing is sad at best. The card that comes with the machine works sporadically if it works at all. To try and fix the issue I installed all the latest drivers, ran TCP Optimizer and played with the adapter settings all to no avail. I ended up having to install my netgear usb 802.11n adapter just to be able to get on the internet. There is definitely something up with this computer because my other devises (two windows laptops, one macbook and three android phones) all work perfectly fine and do not have the horrible internet/wifi performance this thing does. I want to resolve the issue and maybe figure out what I can do to get it working instead of having to take the thing back and return it. my four year old laptop does better than this thing. Please tell me if there is anything I need to do with this computer because it's useless to me if I can't get my internet to work properly on it.
