Found 2 new updates tonight (Mon, 3-9-15), and I presume they're actually the regular Update Tues updates.
March Malicious Software Removal Tool (KB890830) installed and ran ok but MSE Definitions Update (KB2310138) failed to install twice, both times with error code 80200053.
I ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter and it after a few min it said 2 problems were fixed. When I attempted to install the MSE update again, it said "Update not needed", and now when I check for updates again, it says "Windows is up to date", but the update history list still shows the MSE update as "failed".
MSE showed a green icon on taskbar and seemed to be happy when I open the MSE control panel.
I did some other things on the net and then checked again for updates. The same update was offered again and it failed again for the third time with same error message. NOW WHAT???
Anybody else have problems with this MSE update? I'm using Win 7 Pro+SP1, 32-bit.
