I have a GX150 destop which suddenly decided to stop working. I thought the hard drive had failed so I bought a new SATA drive and a SATA to PATA converter. Once these were connected on boot up it runs through the BIOS POST and leaves a flashing cursor at the top left of screen, also the floppy drive light is continually on.
I have tried to get into the BIOS using F2 but although it says entering/accessing BIOS in the top right of the screen, it does not go into the BIOS.
