I just purchased a Dell Latitude E6540 that has an icon for "Protected Workspace". My question is whether it is software that runs continuously in the background or whether it has to be opened for "protection". I am confused because if I double click and open the "Protected Workspace", I get an error message to "Please close all Google Chrome windows to continue" (even though there are no Chrome windows in use). I also get the same message upon booting up the computer. I have searched for a manual on the use of the software but have been unsuccessful. Can anyone provide insight as to purpose and use of this software? Thank you for any help you can provide!
