I recently purchased a Dell XPS8700 Desktop computer from Costco (Item #979127). I paid additional dollars to get a model that comes with 32GB SSD.
When I look in the device manager I only see the 2TB SATA disk, but there is not a mention of this SSD in any of the listed devices in the device manager. Should I be able to see the SSD any where? How can i confirm that my desktop truly has the SSD it claims it has? I dont want to open my computer for sure..so thats not an option.
It does boot very fast (within 30 seconds) so Iam assuming it has what it says. But it is a 8 cpu i7 device - so it is a beast as far as power is concerned - so may be that is why it is booting fast??
