Hello...
Suddenly, I started receiving the classical error 0x0000006B and system does not boot.
When using Safe Mode, the system loads CLASSPNP.SYS driver and then reboots.
I have tried everything:
- I have used Dell diagnostics to check all hardware but everything is working properly, hard driver has no bad sectors, memory is good, and so on
- I have launched Windows Recovery screen, then Command Prompt. In that case, Windows is installed in D:\ because C:\ is used by Dell recovery tools. So I used CHKDSK /R D: and it reported no problems
- I have used SFC /SCANNOW but the problem continues.
- I have check BIOS settings. Some guys in forums told that I could change SATA mode to ATA and see what happened, but in my case, the system continues rebooting after CLASSPNP.SYS.
- I have removed bootcat.cache located at %SystemRoot%\system32\codeintegrity
- I have tried to boot into safe mode, last known configuration etc.
- Trying to restore from a backup but I don't have sufficient space in my hard drive
- I can boot the system using Hiren's Boot CD.. I have made other tests, loaded Windows XP mini to navigate the hard drive and made other backups using an external disk.
- And tried all and all.... no success... no luck... nothing
I have no installed any new hardware nor software.
I had this problem on last wednesday first. I have used recovery tools and load Windows from there and magically it booted. I continued that way working until friday. The same problem occured and in this case, I could not boot my system anymore.
I could not find Windows 7 CD's that came with my computer, so I could not try to recover the system from there, so it is impossible for me to format and reinstall Operating System.
Please help!!!!
Best regards
Jaime
