I purchased a StarTech PEXUSB3S2 card to speed up my backups. It works well for that purpose. Now I would like to boot a Live USB via that card to try out some Linux distributions. However the USB card is not recognized as a boot source. I cannot find any BIOS settings which recognize the existence of the card. BIOS is Version 1.2.2 9/7/2009. The Live USB works fine from the front USB 2 slots.
Can the Vostro 220 be configured to boot from a PCI Express USB 3.0 port and if so what do I need to do?
