HI first i called tech support ,I udated my bios from 1.0.0 to BIOS, 1.0.8 under windows 8.1 everything went fine,i rebbooted my pc twice which booted faster ok.Then i shut down the pc to install a new 

Evga geforce gt 730 1 GB gddr5 128 bit pci express 2.0 card before updating the bios,the first card was doa,so i got a replacement.Before installing the card,thats when i updated the bios.thats  when turning on the pc the sreen frezzes,the status blue bar goes half way then it frezzes.

itryed everything removed the new card reconected to the on board video,same thing keeps frezzeing up.cna't access the bios setup or boot option menu..tryed clearing the cmos no differnce.

When i called tech support they told me the 518 wasn't win 8.0/8,1 compatable,but before upating the bios the pc has run for months on win 8.1 no problem.running games etc..he told me i shouldn't have updated the bios..

He said theres nothing i can do,basicly my m.b is junk.nothing  can be done.thats why im asking here if hes right and nothing can be done..If so is there an after market m.b that will support my ddr2 memory and cpu,etc.i can get a new case not sure which m.b to get,i can serch.im gona get a new pc next year or build one for my freind.he doesn't have alot of money right now.

any help would be great,tech support on the phone told me try here as a last resort..thanks for amy input.
