Hello.
I have a Dell XPS 8500 running windows 7.
This morning, when trying to start the computer, I got this error:
No boot device available:
Strike the F1 key to retry boot, F2 to run setup utilit
SATA 0: Installed
SATA 1: Installed
SATA 2: None
SATA 3: None
MSATA1: NONE
I have pressed F2 and tried various configurations, including trying legacy boot mode and disabling secure boot mode.
This is what the boot settings look like currently:
Numblock key: [On]
Keyboard Errors: [Report]
USB Boot Support: [Enabled]
System Mode state: User
Secure Boot state: [Enabled]
Secure Boot Mode: [Standard]
Load Legacy OPROM: [Disabled]
Boot Mode: [UEFI]
1st Boot Device: [Internal HDD Devices]
2nd Boot Device: [USB Storage Device]
3rd Boot Device: [Internal ODD Devices]
4th Boot Device: [USB Floppy Device]
5th Boot Device: [Onboard NIC Device]
I tried running F12 diagnostics and the test couldn't detect the hard drive.
I've also read a lot of solutions on here but couldn't find one that worked.
Also, I'm not sure how to open the tower since I've never seen this type of screwhead before. It's not a philips or a flathead - it's a small circle.
THANK YOU in advance for any help/device.
