Recently I decided to move my computer to another area in my home and before hooking everything back up decided to take the cover off and blow it out with can of compressed air stuff. When I got my computer all hooked up and got on and started playing the MMORPG World of Warcraft I noticed my fans stayed at slow speed like it normally does when idle at desktop instead of speeding up from playing games. Before I cleaned my computer it would get loud when I played the game but now it stays at one speed all the time.
When I cleaned my computer I did not remove or touch anything. I checked and all the fans are moving and I have latest bios. Could the wrong power cord do this? When I moved my computer I might have used the monitor power cord instead but there both 10A 125V only difference is one is thin flat like look and other is round. I don't remember which one went to the monitor though because I forgot to mark them. If anyone could give me some advice I would appreciate it. Im worried I messed something up since normally the fans are supposed to increase speed as it gets hotter and mine isn't.
