Start Menu - "Dell Update" shaded in pink - version of Windows is 7 - uninstall?

What is the function of the pink highlighted Dell Update in the Start Menu?  Should it be uninstalled?

And, I ran a McAfee scan and no viruses appeared.  Could this be a virus?
