I have a 2.5 year old Dell Inspiron One 2330 (all in one desktop) with Windows 8.1
Normally what would happen would be that it would get "stuck" in sleep mode and I would have to manually power it off. Nothing would wake the computer - mouse, keyboard, one touch of the power button.
Now, the computer gets stuck in the "on" position, too. Mouse, keyboard, one touch of the power button won't do anything. The screen is on and I can see what I last worked on, but nothing will un-freeze it. Again, I have to hold down the power button to manually power it off.
This has been happening for about two months now. And it seems to happen every day now.
I am on BIOS A14. I have disabled sleep more and messed around with all the power options, but nothing helps. It just seems after several hours of it being in sleep, or on, it just freezes and has to be manually powered off.
Any ideas? I'm about to do a system restore if I can't come up with anything.
