In a previous forum that I initiated, someone recommended that I install W10 to determine if it was W7 that was causing me trouble. Although it determined that something associated with W7 was causing the problem (bloated registers?), I wish that I had never listened to them, because W10 has caused me much grief,including the loss of a lot of work!
Looking at the Microsoft forums "How to: What are my options for obtaining Windows 7 reinstall media?", the author states that one should be able to press F8 at start-up to access the advanced boot options. With W10 on the machine, F8 no longer works on the Dell computer. WHY? What has MS done to prevent my computer from rolling back?
Can anyone tell me if they have rolled back, reinstalling W7 or W8, and what steps that you used to accomplish it? Thank you very much.
