Having problems with updating the DELL BACKUP AND RECOVERY to new version of 1.9.0.22 on TWO Dell Inspiron 660s'. Both of these systems are 64-bit systems. One is running Windows 8.1 (and no matter what we've done will NOT update to Windows 10 even though that update tries numerous times daily and FAILS numerous times daily), and the other is already updated to Windows 10.
On the Windows 8.1 Inspiron 660s, when I try to update this Dell Backup and Recovery, it shows the update "downloading" and then the window promptly just DISAPPEARS and the update is never installed.
On the Windows 10 Inspiron 660s, when I try to update the Dell Backup and Recovery, I click to install and I get an Error that tells me: "An error occurred during the process. Learn More." The wording "Learn More" is a link and when I try to click this link, it does nothing and goes nowhere. Needless to say, I can't get this update here, either.
The versions running on both of these Inspirons is: 1.8.1.70. I have tried searching on Dell's website for the Dell Backup and Recovery v. 1.9.0.22 to no avail. Would appreciate any help you can provide, and thanks.
