Hello everybody;
I want to add USB 3.0 capability to my machine, but in looking at all of the cards online, I notice that they all seem to require some sort of external power even though they are plugged into the system board. What I am not sure of is whether or not the T7500 has available power connectors on the motherboard and if they are the type required by the board mfg. Or, are there any cards out there that do not have this external power requirement?
I have a few open PCIE slots, so space is not an issue. Am really just looking for the speed boost from the 3.0 vs the older 2.0.
