I have an XPS 8500 that is about 2 years old.
3rd Gen I7-3770
16GB RAM
2TB HHD + 32GB SSD
BlueRay
Most times when I turn the computer on, it freezes at the black screen with the Dell logo. I have waited as long as 2 hours and nothing happened.
I hold on the power button until the PC shuts down and when I power it up again, it works.
Can someone help me figure out what the problem is?
I don't want this to get worse and would rather preempt it with a fix before it gets worse.
I was running Windows 8 and I just upgraded to Windows 10. I have this problem with Windows 10 and I had it with Windows 8.
