I have a 2330 that ran 8.1 very well for 18 months, but failed with 10 (internal power error blue screen), so had to go back to 8.1. Since then there have been some problems, specifically that none of my three Seagate external desk drives (all USB 2 or 3 compatible) can now be accessed. They light up and are listed as devices in the Control Panel, but not in File Explorer. Properties tell me the drives are working OK, and they all work fine, with the same cables, on an older Dell running XP with no network connection. Dell Support have taken me through hardware diagnostics and say all is fine, so problem must be software. Seagate Support says problem lies in the PC not in the drives. Anyone else got this problem or a solution?
