Hi All,
I've a Dell Vostro 360 that is running Windows 7 (OEM). Over the last couple of years, there have been multiple revisions to the Graphics Driver made available as an optional update in Windows Update. The issue is that these updates, while selected by MS for my 360, don't seem to be compatible with the HW -- after installing, the machine is thrown into loop of cycling between full screen red, green and blue. The only way to recover is Safe Mode and revert the driver back. This hasn't been an issue thus far because the original driver (that is supplied from Dell) works great albeit w/out the fixes the subsequent versions have.
I'm wondering if any one else has observed this issue? The most recent driver that's being advertised in Windows Update is:
Intel Corporation -- Graphics Adapter WDDM1.1 Graphics Adapter WDDM1.2 -- Intel(R) Graphics, published 6/5/2015.
This driver does exhibit the problematic behavior (I tried it thinking, this time, maybe someone would have fixed...)
