It's like beating a dead horse but I can't help it. Looks like in Chris's post we can't comment so let me unsticky it.
"There is no Windows 10 support for this 2012 model. Dell can only speak to what Dell tested and validated, Windows 7/8/8.1."
What people don't understand is the 2710 is not a Dell Venue 8 Pro. I cringe at what some may of spent on this system. This system should last 5-8 years as a work station. I'm so close to just taking my hard earned cash and getting the latest iMac or just buying what Dell does best...MAKE MONITORS! A freaking monitor company and go back to the clutter of cables all over the place.
We should be owed an answer as to why. Is it a hardware compatibility issue? Why does Microsoft give me the Windows 10 upgrade message that I was good to go? I can be a little more forgiving if it's a technical reason. For all I know Dell said...."eh, we're not testing this model" because it's from 2012 or whatever.
I'm looking at all my options and I can't even find a replacement motherboard anywhere and when I do why would I want to spend another what...$300 to get my system working when it can't support Windows 10.
