XPS 8700 dual monitors

XPS 8700, runnining Win 10. I have two P2314T monitors.  One I plugged into the GTX 745 graphics card and works fine.  The other I have tried with a VGA chord and it does not work.  I tried plugging into the other HDMI port, it does not work.  Do I need to get a second graphics card with an HDMI port?  Or, would the Vision Tek External USB 3.0 with HDMI solve my problem?  (Dell A626533)

Would an HDMI to DVI plug adapter work on the present graphics card?
