VGA will not work with HDMI because I have an add-in graphics card..? I have no DVI or secondary VGA input

So I have a 40" Insignia (BestBuy brand) 1080p LED HDTV with HDMI that I want to set up with my Dell XPS 8700 PC with Windows 8.1. I have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 645. When I connect the HDMI to my tower and my monitor plugged into the VGA (where it's supposed to be) I get this message;

"Attention: Unsupported Video Configuration Detected

Action is Required

This computer has an add-in graphics card, but the monitor is plugged into the integrated video connector.
To attach the monitor cable to the add-in graphics card:

1. Shut down the computer
2. Plug the monitor cable into the add-in graphics card connector.
This may require a video adapter or video adapter cable.
(provided with the system)
3. Turn on the computer.

This message should not appear after completing these steps."

Problem is, I have no other VGA input and I don't even have DVI.

I have no idea what to do at all.. Do I need a VGA to HDMI adapter? Or do I need to do something else altogether? Do I need to reset my graphics and drives (I remember updated/doing something to them so I could play a certain game)?
