Dell, would it kill you to create a new model number for major revisions of a model?
Researched the XPS 8900 for a client, plenty of references to Windows 7 running on it. Ordered one, missing drivers on the website, find out this board revision can not be downgrade from Windows 10.
Is it so tough to add a number to the 8900 for a revision, such as XPS 8910. Then at least clients might have a chance of finding out it can not run Win 7, I state chance, as the web does not state it can not be downgraded, at least not in obvious areas.
I am sure it would be easier then accepting machine returns, I also find it hard to believe your not support Win 7 on machines since no one but members of the Romper Room, or the Phisher Price gangs or computer illiterate focus groups wants Windows 10.
