I have an Inspiron One 2330 Touch Screen with the absolutely terrible Dell Wireless 1703 wireless card in it.
I am running Windows 10 and have the latest driver available 10.0.0.318
The wireless card says it is connected at 65.0 Mbps BUT when copying files to any of my other computers, I am lucky if I can get speeds of 1.5 MB/s and mostly it falls below that. My 10 year old Dell laptop with a B wireless adaptor copies files faster.
I have switched it to 20/40/Auto and set it to Maximum Power but that doesn't seem to make a difference. I have tried all the tricks on the internet.
As a computer Engineer supporting hospitals, I can't rely on such terrible network speeds so I need to upgrade the wireless card to an Intel Brand or something that is faster and more reliable.
I have no problem replacing the card as shown in this Video. However, I am not sure what card is compatible with this computer. There is no wireless upgrade card options on Dell's accessory site.
