hi
i want to use dell t5500 to run vms. currently quadro fx1700 card is installed in it.
when i install all vms can i remove the graphic card and just access it via network ? or is graphic card a must .. as most of the time nothing except network cable is connected to it.
i want to minimize the extra 40 watts consumed by it.
if its not possible can i use some low power ati 5450 pcie card in it ?as that comsumes only half the power of current one.
also is there any way i can be able to see boot messages and do chnages bios via network probably via vnc ?that would totally eliminate the once in a blue moon requirement of attaching phycial monitor to it.
