My sincere apologies if this is posted in the wrong section, but my choices were this or Audio, and that didn't sound right (no pun intended).
Long story short, I upgraded W7 Premium to Ultimate so that I could use BitLocker.
When trying to turn BL on, I got the message that says "A compatible TPM Security Device must be present on the computer, but a TPM was not found." I have read that some computers haveTPMs that do not appear in the W7 TPM MMC due to a BIOS setting that hides the TPM by default, and it must be enabled in BIOS.
Can someone please advise me where to find this in BIOS? I was just in there looking around, but saw nothing about TPM.
I also read that my PC might have an earlier version of TPM not compatible with BL and that I might need a BIOS update. My BIOS version is A04.
