I have been having problems with my MXM fan, so I bought a new one to replace it. Took the old one out and a lot of dust fell out when I did. Got all of that cleaned up and installed the new one. It ran fine after I installed it and turned the computer back on. Did a hardware diagnostics to make sure of that fact. This morning my computer was running loud again, but not as loud as before and it is staying a lot cooler than it was before replacing the fan. When I ran a diagnostics this morning after hearing the computer was running loud again, this is what I got;
MXM Fan error code; 2000-0511
Validation 40840
MSG: Fan-The (MXM FAN) failed to respond correctly.
What do I do to fix this?
DELL Inspiron One 2320 touch screen. Before upgrading to Windows 10, the operating system was Windows 7 home premium.
