I got into a chat yesterday with a Dell rep. about buying a dual-HDMI graphics card for my Dimension 8300.
Is it true that only the graphics adapters that Dell sells will work in this model of computer? They don't sell any dual-HDMI ones that are compatible with this computer.
Shouldn't I be able to buy any off-the shelf hardware and install it? I thought we left these compatibility issues behind years ago.
Although I'd prefer the HDMI interface, I do have a dual-DVI Radeon that I pulled from a Dell desktop that I replaced. Any reason that won't work?
