Dell Studio 540 Won't turn on. Orange/Amber light, solutions?

Hello,

recently my Dell Studio 540 has stopped working after I shut it down one night. When I woke up the next morning and tried to turn it on, it failed to respond.

Now here is exactly what I know is going on with the computer.

-When I press the power button, it blinks once with an amber/orange light before going blank.

-I disconnected all additional USB cables, as well as the monitor and tried it again. Same result

-I tried disconnecting the power, holding the power button for 10-20 seconds, and then reconnecting the power cable and then powering it on, but no success.

-The LED light on the back of the computer where the PSU is, is a solid green light. Which I believe indicates that the PSU is fine. Also of note, when I press the power button the fans for both the PSU and the main fan spin briefly before losing power.
---------------------------------

-That's where i'm at right now, and its been about 2 days without it working, and I haven't done anything else to the computer since. Here is some additional info however that may help

---------------------------------

-About 6-7 months ago I bought a new graphics card, a EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 750ti. The video card, when I installed it seemed to work fine. I was aware of its requirements and the Dell Studio 540 fit the minimum requirements for both the PSU and the CPU although just at a minimum. It was running smoothly

-Then, about 4 months ago I ran into this problem for the first time, and then again. Although both times waiting a day or two the computer eventually managed to boot itself when I tried it after waiting some time. This time however, it isn't working out.

-I haven't cleaned my computer in awhile, therefore there is probably a lot of dust inside the components. I've hypothesized this could be a problem as well considering that whenver I boot my computer up normally I can hear the fans working very hard, my computer is also kind of loud because I run a lot of high end programs that put stress on my CPU that i've been meaning to replace.

-I haven't opened up the case yet because of work but I'm looking to both clean the inside and open it up and try finding the solution/fixing it before I start buying parts.

-Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
