So I have a 8700 that recently the RAM just pooped itself and in Windows 8.1 only about 4 GB available while in the BIOS (which is one of the latest because i had to update it) it shows i have all 12 GB installed and its reading it. People in forums are told to clear the motherboard memory by removing the board battery or something I don't really know how so if someone can also assist with that. Thanks !
