Hello,
I need some guidance with a Dell Inspirion 20 Model 3048 All-in-One PC. I got a call from an elder couple that I've done computer work for in the past (on a different PC) to come by and look at their PC. The only information I was given at the time was that it "broke". When I arrived I found they had purchased this new Dell PC about six months ago.
When I tried to boot the PC I got the error code listed below. This is the same error as described in a previous post (link shown below) but no resolution was stated).
The couple didn't have ANY documents or CD's (if there were any) for the PC, so I told them I'd have to do some research to find out what I had to do. So my questions are as follows:
1. From the previous post, I'm assuming the only fix for the PC is a reinstall of the OS using a Restore disk. So did this PC come with any Backup or Recovery CD's? Or were they to be made by them when the PC was initially setup?
2. If the PC didn't come with any CD's, since they can't be made with the PC in it's current state, can they be purchased? If so is there a webpage where they can be ordered or must they contact Dell directly (by phone)?
