Ever since dell replaced my motherboard in 2009, my PC's done this weird thing on startup. Right after the main dell screen, it goes to one with a bunch of weird numbers, and something I think was a MAC Address. It says DHCP... for a minute or two, then says PXE-E53: No boot filename received. It then begins the normal Windows startup and everything is smooth. I'm just a bit tired of having to wait an extra minute or so every startup because of that. A friend told me it was because it was trying to boot from a network (?), but I've checked the booting priorities in the BIOS and the top listed is the main HDD, so... I don't know. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit on a Dell Inspiron 518. (Thanks Ron)
Can anyone help me on this?
