The "strong polycarbonate outer shell" that surrounds the tablet did not survive a drop to the floor from about 3 feet. It is now broken and useless and I can no longer protect the tablet. I would suggest that this material is not strong at all. It's rather brittle and surprisingly weak. That said, it probably did protect the tablet from serious damage.
Does anyone know if just the shell is available as a replacement part? I don't need the cover or the keyboard.
