Recently upgraded my Alienware Aurora ALX with an Intel 920 to an Intel 970.
Seems to work ok as far as i can tell.
Upgraded from 6GB to 12GB and occasionally get 4 beeps depending on my BIOS settings.
Not a simple plug and play...after 10 minutes my computer freezes. Mouse and keyboard still on, computer still on but no response.
Turned off hibernation mode thinking the computer was going to sleep. I have more info at the Corsair forums
