I just received an Inspiron 23 5000 series (5348) and was shocked to see that the top of the display has a half inch open gap! I've looked at pictures online and don't see this "feature". This is going to allow all sorts of dust and dirt to go directly in to the computer. What I need to know is this. Is this how the system was designed and intentionally built, or is this system defective? I just don't see how I can keep this system if this is the way it is supposed to be.
