Hi all,
i have a XPS 8500 (bought in 2013), and a couple of days ago, my 2TBs SATA HDD got extremely slow. I use this desktop mainly for studying purposes (a lot of VMs running) and since 2 days ago, all of my VMs are very, very, very slow. The programs running in the SSD (including the OS) are all normal, without any performance degradation.
I am using Debian 7 as my OS... the question is: Is my 2TBs disk near death? Is there any way to check its healthy?
