Hi,
I have the gtx 745 GPU and I received a new GPU, the gtx 970 FTW with the dual fan. We have reading different forums and sometimes with contradicting information and I must say I am a bit lost in how to upgrade it.
Our main questions are:
1) is the R2 power board optimized for this gtx 970 dual fan or I shall expect to observe any issues due high temp in the case? We saw that there seems to be an engineering issue with the gtx 970 as having the dual fan sending hot air back to inside the case in comparison to the single fan. Replacing is not an option, so I'd like t understand the penalty for having the dual fan.
2) Regarding the PSU. Right now we have a 240W. Is enough to upgrade to 330w? We saw some forums saying that this should draw less power and 330w should be fine, however when looking for the GPU places to buy it says that it requires min 500w. So I am confused.
Is there anything else I am missing? What should be the final configuration?
