I have been using my Dell Inspiron N5010 for around 4 years now and I am happy with it. 2 days ago, a strange problem appeared and has prevailed ever since. The display sometimes starts showing weird rainbow pixels and all the pixels on the screen gets messed up. This only happens sometimes. At first i thought it maybe a software or driver issue because it only happened when i used firefox for a long time. but i saw this happen when i used chrome as well so i am not sure what is causing it?
I think that when the laptop gets a bit heated, this starts showing up, but i am not sure. also this hasn't happened in the 4 years that i owned this device but only started happening from 2 days. What could be the reason?
