Inspiron One 2020 Keyboard Failure

So I've been dealing with this since last night. I turn on the computer, the dell logo shows, screen goes to black with a white text on the upper right corner saying "keyboard failure" for about 2 seconds and then it goes to my password screen. Now I know it says "keyboard failure" but it's not just that. Nothing with a USB will work. I can't use my mouse, keyboard, iPod charger etc. So this is what I've tried so far: -plugged in a different keyboard and different mouse, same result. - unplugged all USB cables, shut off computer, unplugged it, held the power button for 60 seconds, tried to reboot, same result. -shut off computer, unplugged it, switched power cable from the wall to a surge protector, held power button for 60 seconds, plugged it back in, reboot, same result. So I'm running out of options here. I'm not really tech smart so I don't trust myself opening up the computer seeing how I might make it worse. The computer looks to be working fine if it only would respond to any of my USB. Oh I also tried all 5 USB ports for my keyboard, 3 in the back and 2 on the side. I really don't want to dish out the money to fix what might seems to be a simple solution. If anyone has had this problem please let me know you fixed it. Thanks.
