Hello all,
I have 50 9020's that are hanging in the morning either before the logon screen or after the user logs on. This includes when a user logs on remotely via RDP.
These are Win 7 64 bit systems with a custom image.
The computers have to be powered off by holding the power button down to reboot which always solves the problem until the next morning.
There is nothing indicating any issues in the system event logs, this seems to be only happening after the computer sits overnight, I have not been able to replicate the issue by booting one of the affected machines 12 times in a row.
Here is what I have done:
1 Disabled sleep mode via GPO
2 Updated Intel NIC drivers to latest and turned of any power saving in the NIC properties
3 Updated to the latest USB 3.0 drivers.
4 Updated to latest BIOS
I need to get this resolved ASAP as it is creating huge productivity issues.
My users are lining up outside my door with pitchforks and torches!
