XPS 8300 Desktop O/S=Windows7 -removed cmos battery, no cntrl-I, no o/s found

Hi guys,

Reaching out for help instead of saying "I can fix this"...I obviously need help..

Issue: Was told by user they heard "beeps", I verified 3 beeps in post, re-seated RAM, then only boot to flashing cursor. Tried booting with 1 DIMM, 2 DIMMs, 1st pair, 2nd pair, etc. no good. removed all usb connections, cd-rom, etc. no change.

For the record, BIOS does successfully see both of the 2 SATA internal HDD's; setting: RAID0 .  Performing Cntrl-I gave no real options (not deleting the raid stripe, can't create-not nuff space, etc.etc.)

Then I made a real oops move...I removed the CMOS battery hoping that would "clear it back up"..that was dumb. now Cntrl-I is NOT listed in bootup, 2 SATA drives ARE still seen in bios, and now I get "missing os"

a)How do I get cntrl-i to get into raid config (if applicable at this point)

b)Research noted that perhaps the power supply went bad.. Powerup/down is good, every time.

1)CD's didn't come with the desktop, o/s reinstall is fine (all data is backed up to ext usb drive) but I can't get to that partition to factory restore (if that is even there anymore)

ANY suggestions are truly appreciated, thank you very much,

"Circ"
