i got this computer in mid-august and i've had it. i don't know if it's the hardware (i3-4170 @ 3.7GHZ; 4GB ram; 1TB 7200 rpm drive) or if it's the "new and improved" windows 10 but this system is a complete dog. it is so slow to do just about anything. for any action, i get the circle/timer thing and i wait. something simple like starting chrome or any mundane task just takes too long for a new computer. i have the task manager open and i often see disk activity pegged at 100% for 10's of seconds at a time. i'm not running any programs; i don't know what's going on. the memory is always around 49% so it's not like the system is thrashing. anyone have any ideas of what i can do or check? thanks.
