I have recently installed a MSI GTX 960 4GB and a EVGA SUPERNOVA 750W Bronze power supply and have decided that I want to go further with my upgrades to my dell xps8500, I am planning to buy a new case,CPU,ram and motherboard but keep the default dell hard drive.
My PC came with Windows 8.1 but last year I got the free upgrade where you could get Windows 10 and I am currently running that, I hear that the OS is tied to the motherboard so when I install all my new parts into my case but still using the old hard drive I will need to re-buy the OS which I dont really want to do because it costs a lot of money. Any help would be grateful [:)]
